About
WOW! THINGS ARE CHANGING JUST NOW; I WILL HAVE TO UPDATE THIS PAGE. I’m joining the circus, basically. More later!
Schopenhauer is my blog about being in the world.
I will try to keep the drivel at bay. As S. says, “There are very many thoughts which have value for him who thinks them, but only a few of them possess the power of engaging the interest of a reader after they have been written down.”
To find out more about why I picked Schopenhauer as a title, read my first post. And don’t hesitate to email me.

Thank you for your kind and interesting critic of my book two Dogs a Donkey and a Frenchwoman.
If you have time please let me know how your time with Ringling went. We did the 2003-2004 seasons.

Mike,
Thank you for your nice comment. I’ve lent your book to a few other people here on the Blue Unit, and it has been pretty popular. A couple people in the animal department have read and enjoyed it, and I continue to pass it around. I guess it’s lucky I know Sally and Bob of Mountainside Press.
I’d love to have a conversation about Ringling, circus, writing, and so on, but I don’t want to have it where everyone can see. I’m not sure how to email you, but if you use the “email me” link at the end of the ‘About’ page on my blog, I’ll tell you a little bit about my time with Ringling.
